US soldier arrested at Capitol over Trump impeachment
An American Air Force pilot was arrested after climbing the steps of the Capitol building during a protest opposing the Trump administration, where he called for the impeachment of the President and Vice President. Officials stated that Watson refused to comply with police orders and was detained on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing traffic, although a Washington court confirmed he would be released without any charges filed against him. He had spoken during a speech criticizing recent military actions and the Trump administration's measures, considering them unconstitutional, and called for the officials' impeachment.
