Lyon completes historic Felix transfer
French club Lyon has captured the attention of the media after announcing the signing of Austrian defender Felix Bacher from Estoril of Portugal for 4.3 million euros, with additional bonuses of up to 0.8 million euros. Estoril will also retain 12.5% of any future profits from his sale. The 25-year-old former Austria U20 international has previously played for clubs such as Freiburg in Germany and Tirol in Austria before joining Estoril in 2024, where he played 58 matches and scored 4 goals. This signing comes as part of the club’s strategy to invest in promising players, following successful deals in the past such as the transfers of Moureira and Cluivert. Currently, the club is focused on preparing for their match against Sparta Prague in the Champions League.
