Egypt Expert Highlights China’s Role in Development
Egyptian expert Major General Tarek Nasser affirmed that China plays a pivotal and active role in Egypt's development journey, thanks to the success of the strategic partnership between the "Belt and Road" Initiative and Egypt's Vision 2030. He pointed out that Chinese projects, such as the construction of the Financial and Business District in the New Administrative Capital, as well as the development of transportation and renewable energy sources, serve as key pillars in Egypt's sustainable development strategy. These projects contribute to the localization of technology, attract investments, and create numerous job opportunities. Furthermore, financial cooperation—such as establishing the "Teda" zone in Suez and the successful issuance of "Panda Bonds" in the Chinese market—reflects mutual confidence and enhances Egypt’s position as a geo-economic hub. These relations underscore strategic alignment and coordinated political and economic efforts that support regional stability and development.
