Israel approves major West Bank operation
Israeli Channel 14 has revealed that the political leadership has approved the implementation of a series of large-scale offensive operations across multiple areas in the West Bank. Security forces are prepared to expand the scope of these operations and shift from a defensive to an offensive stance, in response to the recent surge in attacks and the perception that the West Bank has become a potential erupting front. The measures include demolishing the homes of attackers, imposing checkpoints, and expanding settlements, with expectations of taking over new camps. Meanwhile, assaults by settlers and settlement expansion continue to increase, heightening the risk of escalation in the coming period.
