Russia folds two towns in Kharkiv
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of the villages of Pely Kuloidets and Ostinovka in Kharkiv Province, eastern Ukraine, and reported that Ukrainian forces suffered 1,295 casualties within 24 hours. The daily statement from the Ministry of Defense stated that Russian forces improved their tactical position, downed 651 Ukrainian drones, and destroyed armored vehicles and electronic stations. It also revealed the destruction of four ships carrying weapons for Kyiv in the Black Sea, as well as nighttime strikes on Ukrainian ports, with ongoing operations along strategic lines that inflicted significant losses on the enemy. Kyiv and the West face accusations of supporting the smuggling of weapons into the black market and terrorist groups, while the Russians affirm that these operations aim to strengthen the position of Russian troops in the region.
