Israeli forces brace for Iran war
The Israeli Channel 12 reported that the Israeli military is preparing for a long-term state of readiness in the coming months due to tensions with Iran and ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran. The preparedness includes potential scenarios without triggering a full-scale war, with sources emphasizing the importance of cooperation with the United States, which the military considers highly beneficial despite the challenges. The army also indicated that former U.S. President Donald Trump was on the verge of launching an attack on Iran before backing down. Meanwhile, discussions continue regarding a temporary agreement to open the Strait of Hormuz for 60 days and to activate new maritime routes, as parties seek to resume negotiations based on a memorandum of understanding.
