Peace Council Chair visits Israel for Gaza plan
The comprehensive plan for the Gaza Strip focused on implementing more than 60 projects between August 2026 and January 2027, aimed at enhancing economic development, security, and infrastructure. The projects include establishing hospitals, rehabilitating infrastructure, and clearing debris, in addition to youth support programs in technology such as the "Gaza Technology Park," establishing pilot areas, and humanitarian camps. This comes as preparations are underway for the second phase of the "Next Step" plan, following the signing of a ceasefire agreement and the disarmament of Palestinian factions, with Israel committing to the ceasefire, and the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey affirming their approval of the document.
