Hamas plans covert move to Turkey
The Hamas movement plans to transfer most of its clandestine activities from Qatar to Turkey, following strict restrictions imposed by Qatari authorities on its leaders, including requiring prior approvals for official meetings. This move comes after growing protests in Qatar over Khalil Haya's appointment as the head of Hamas's political bureau, replacing Yahya Sinwar, after the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh. The shift to Turkey aims to preserve the movement's secret operations amid increasing Qatari restrictions on its leadership.
