Dating app profiles altered by AI without consent

Tinder has temporarily paused its AI-powered photo enhancement tool following reports from some users about significant changes in their appearance without consent. This feature is still in the testing phase, with over 90% of users retaining the enhanced photos, and data showing that less than 0.5% of images have been reported as not resembling the users. The app is currently investigating the reported photos, and the testing has been temporarily halted in the United States.
