Sowaris Replies to Saudi Club Owner
Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris commented on American Ben Harborough's statement, in which he criticized Mohamed Salah's transfer to the Turkish league. Sawiris considered Salah an Egyptian icon and a source of pride for any club, and emphasized that he is still at an age suitable for playing, not retiring. Sawiris also expressed his hope that Salah will join his club in the future before he retires. This comes after Salah arrived in Turkey in preparation for the official announcement of his transfer to Trabzonspor, one of Turkey's major clubs, which has a rich history of domestic and European titles.
