Trump: Abdoul Slayad's win benefits GOP
Abdul Sayed won the Democratic Party's nomination for the U.S. Senate race in Michigan, a result that some considered a victory for the party's progressive wing. Despite substantial financial support from pro-Israel lobbying groups that spent over $50 million to oppose him, his win was secured by a narrow margin of about 14,000 votes. He focused on pledges to reduce the influence of money in politics and to strengthen healthcare policies for all, reflecting a shift in the party's electoral dynamics. Conversely, former President Donald Trump criticized the voting process in Michigan, deeming it corrupt, and reaffirmed his support for the Republican candidate in the November election.
