CNN Reports on Israel-Lebanon Talks Termination
The talks sponsored by the United States between Israel and Lebanon in Rome concluded prematurely, ahead of their scheduled time, amid renewed Israeli shelling of southern Lebanon. It was reported that the shelling was halted due to developments on the ground. Sources confirmed that all parties plan to resume negotiations on Thursday morning, though ongoing field events may influence that. The discussions focused on political and military issues, and progress was made in implementing a tripartite framework aimed at ending hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. Meanwhile, the Israeli army ordered the residents of the Al-Mansouri village to evacuate and began launching strikes against Hezbollah targets in response to violations of the ceasefire.
