German airport avoids convoy disaster
Leipzig/Halle airports in Germany were saved from a potential disaster after a drone carrying a bomb with explosive materials and a detonator was discovered and disarmed near four Antonov Airlines cargo planes. The investigation clarified that the detonator in the suspicious package was disconnected, preventing an explosion. Additionally, authorities recorded another incident involving a cargo plane colliding with a vehicle at an altitude of several hundred meters after takeoff from the airport. The airport serves as an important logistical hub for military equipment transfer, and it is believed that the motive behind the incident may be political. Authorities have so far ruled out any specific party, though there is suspicion of potential sabotage operations possibly linked to Russia, despite their denials of any responsibility.
