Red Cross transfers Lebanese detainee from Israel
The news reported that Lebanon received, through the International Red Cross Committee, a citizen who had been detained by Israeli forces during clashes with Hezbollah. He is the first hostage released by Israel since the escalation began. The transfer took place from the Ras al-Naqoura crossing into Lebanon, where officials reaffirmed that this was a humanitarian step underway, while efforts continue to secure the release of the remaining prisoners and missing persons. This comes within the framework of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel under American auspices, amid ongoing tensions and conflicts in the region.
