Madhet Abdel Hadi, the former Zamalek star, discussed his team's performance since the start of the Egyptian Premier League season, emphasizing that Zamalek's victory last season came under challenging circumstances that required significant effort to defend. The team began the season with a draw followed by two wins, collecting 7 points from the first three matches and currently ranking third, with strong competition from Al Ahly and Pyramids. He noted that the match results so far are a continuation of the pre-season period due to delayed preparations, and that both physical and technical levels need improvement amid intense competition and the closely grouped points standings. He also expressed fans' concerns regarding the team's performance, with expectations of a difficult season that will require collective efforts to retain the title.
