Israeli forces strike Hezbollah sites in south Lebanon
The Israeli army carried out nighttime raids on infrastructure and weapon arsenals belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, in response to a drone launched toward their soldiers in the security zone. The raids resulted in the death of three people and the injury of 23 others in southern Lebanon. Israel claimed that the targets were intended to prevent potential attacks by the party. This escalation comes after Israel took control of a strategic high ground in southern Lebanon, destroyed tunnels and supply lines linked to Hezbollah, and the Israeli army confirmed its ongoing efforts to thwart threats and destroy Hezbollah facilities.
