Fragments of a drone launched by the Houthi group towards the Saudi Arabian province of Taif have fallen, resulting in one person dead and two others injured, including a Saudi citizen in critical condition. Additionally, there was material damage to buildings and vehicles. The Saudi Civil Defense confirmed that the drone was intercepted and destroyed. The attack comes after a failed attempt two days earlier to target Mecca, reflecting an escalation in Houthi attacks against Saudi targets. There has been widespread international condemnation of these assaults, which threaten the security of the Two Holy Mosques.
