Students Still Apply to Sudanese Universities Despite Drone Attacks
Amid exceptional security conditions in El Damazin, the students of the region continued to complete university application procedures normally, despite previous protests in the area. An official at the application center confirmed that the process went smoothly, with the center ranking tenth across Sudan and first in the Blue Nile region. There were some minor issues with communication networks and a lack of familiarity among some families with the application process. To enhance connectivity, the centers utilized Starlink services, which helped organize the registration process and accommodate the high influx of students. The students emphasized that security remained stable and that the procedures took place normally, contrary to rumors of security disturbances during this period. They assured that the situation was safe and straightforward.
