Italian Super Cup returns to Milan
The Italian Super Cup will return to its traditional format in Milan on December 22, after four editions held in Saudi Arabia. The match will be played between the league and cup champions now that the partnership with Saudi Arabia has ended, with Inter Milan facing Lazio. It is worth noting that Inter achieved the double this year, winning both the league and the cup, while Lazio defeated Inter 3-0 in the cup final. The Serie A authorities have not announced the reason for ending the cooperation with Saudi Arabia, which hosted six editions of the tournament, and its sporting investments have been affected by the geopolitical events in the region.
