Iran to close Strait routes over disruptions
An advisor to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated that Tehran will close the "illegal" passages in the Strait of Hormuz, which were created by violators through the destruction of some rocks. He confirmed that the strait is currently closed and fully controlled by Iranian forces, and it will only be reopened if Iran’s demands are met. These comments come amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, with the crisis affecting maritime traffic through this vital strait. Meanwhile, Trump denies American control over the strait and justifies the rising gasoline prices in the United States with remarks about another cause.
