Israeli airstrikes in Gaza kill 5
The Israeli forces have taken responsibility for carrying out strikes on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of at least 5 Palestinians in less than 24 hours, including casualties in Khan Younis where a tent was targeted, killing 3 people. Israeli attacks on Hamas have intensified; Hamas denies attempting to rearm or carry out attacks, and Israel accuses Hamas of undermining the ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States with the aim of rebuilding the Gaza Strip. Since the ceasefire went into effect last October, more than 1,400 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israeli fire, while four Israeli soldiers have been killed during the same period.
