Saudi-led coalition intercepts rockets and drones
The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen announced that it intercepted and destroyed multiple ballistic and drone attacks targeting the Kingdom. These included the destruction of three drones over Riyadh and the southern region, two cruise missiles over the Red Sea, and a ballistic missile heading towards Yanbu. These attacks come amidst ongoing escalation since tensions resurfaced in Yemen three months ago, with the Houthis claiming responsibility for attacks that have resulted in casualties and injuries within the Kingdom.
