How to raise concerns on warning delays and Patriot aid
Russia launched an extensive airstrike on Ukraine overnight, using ballistic missiles and more than 200 drones. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least 10 people, the destruction of critical energy infrastructure in parts of the country, and power outages affecting over half a million homes. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the lack of prior warnings from allies regarding the attacks, especially given the delayed supply of American Patriot systems, which are considered essential for intercepting Russian missiles. Reports indicate that Ukraine is experiencing a shortage of air defense support amid political disagreements with the United States over speeding up the delivery of Patriot systems and stopping attacks on Russian targets. Meanwhile, the Russian military continues to escalate its assaults to assert control over Ukraine’s infrastructure.
