Al Jazeera reports loud explosion in Aden
Yemen has experienced a major escalation in military activity, with the Houthi group targeting Aden International Airport and the nearby Badr Camp with ballistic missiles. This resulted in several explosions and attacks on both military and civilian sites. Meanwhile, government forces engaged in intense clashes with the Houthis west of Taiz. Reports confirmed civilian casualties and injuries due to Houthi shelling, as hospitals and schools remained shut down due to fuel and medication shortages, entering their 17th day of blockade on the city. The attacks on Aden Airport caused two missiles to land within the airport compound, damaging military forces and ammunition warehouses, with no human casualties reported. Clashes intensified in other fronts, and tensions continued as military operations in Yemen resumed after a period of relative calm.
