Saudi player responds to Coenseao
The article focused on Saad Al-Mousa, a player for Al-Ittihad, criticizing former coach Sergio Conceição's comments about Saudi players. It emphasized that Conceição did not say that Saudi players are "bad" and that his remarks were misunderstood. Al-Mousa explained that government support for sports and efforts to develop Saudi players are ongoing, and that the limited playing time given to Saudi players is due to the abundance of foreign players, not a lack of professionalism. His statements indicate that Conceição was trying to clarify that he did not mean to insult Saudi players; rather, he was referring to the differences in the level of football between Saudi Arabia and Europe. He reaffirmed his continued respect for the Kingdom and its players.
