Tehran has not called on Hezbollah for war
The article discusses the political and military escalation in Lebanon amidst tension between Iran, the United States, and Israel, focusing on the possible stance of Hezbollah and the success of regional and international mediations in controlling the escalation. Sources confirmed that Hezbollah is currently committed to a ceasefire, despite increasing threats, and that Iran expects the conflict to renew and is preparing to defend itself vigorously, raising concerns of a broad escalation. Additionally, estimates indicate that Israel refuses to expand the security zone unless Washington intervenes to enforce it, while Hezbollah’s position on supporting Iran remains unclear, especially after the reduced likelihood of direct intervention by the party unless under strong Iranian pressure.
