Yemeni government forces announced that they had completed their takeover of the Hawishyan heights in Al Jawf governorate, following battles that began on Friday and continued through Saturday. The area overlooks routes and sites of military importance. Clashes continued on several fronts, including Lahj and Taiz. In southeastern Taiz, the forces struck Houthi positions on the Al-Aqroud front after repelling an attack by the group. Government forces said they had carried out 1,272 strikes against Houthi reinforcements in 24 hours as part of “Operation Yemen’s Dawn.”
