Kennedy Center removes Trump's name
The name of U.S. President Donald Trump has been removed from the facade of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, following a federal court ruling that deemed adding his name to the designation illegal. The center's management confirmed their commitment to the court's decision, as workers began removing signs bearing Trump's name, while a crowd gathered in front of the building to protest. This decision followed a legal battle between the center's board and opponents over the legality of changing the name, after the board added Trump’s name last December, which upset the Kennedy family and Democrats.
