Iranian official states: We will strongly defend the Strait of Hormuz
A member of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee confirmed that Iran will continue to maintain strong control over the Strait of Hormuz. He clarified that Iran has successfully secured control over the strait and intends to uphold it using force if necessary. These statements come amid regional tensions following a 40-day American-Israeli aggression against Iran in February, to which Iran responded with a military operation targeting objectives in the region.
