Taiz Battles: Forces Rebuff Houthi Attacks
The Taiz Governorate is witnessing intense battles between government forces and the resistance fighters on one side, and Houthi militias on the other, across several combat fronts. The forces have managed to repel Houthi attacks and prevent significant advances in areas such as Al-Munfath, Kalaba, Asifra, the Air Defense, Jabal Haan, and Al-Kadha. The Jabal Haan front remains one of the most active battle zones, with fighting ongoing in the Bani Omar, Bani Shiba, and Rasen fronts, as efforts continue to regain positions lost by the forces in recent days. The clashes have resulted in casualties and injuries among the Houthis, as well as the destruction of several military vehicles. This comes amid a broad military escalation in the region, while government efforts persist to contain Houthi infiltrations at the outskirts of Jabal Hbeish and to assert control over strategically important sites.
