Moyes discusses Fredkin's Everton sale offer
Everton manager David Moyes expressed his surprise upon learning that the Frederiksen group, the club's current owner, is considering selling its controlling stake, less than two years after acquiring it. This move comes amid efforts by the group to improve the financial situation and stability following a period of challenges at the club, which is currently in seventh place in the English Premier League after five matches. Frederiksen announced that they are open to selling in order to attract new investment, while reaffirming their continued support for the club throughout the sale process, which involves engaging an investment bank for advice. The group stated that the decision to sell comes after stabilizing the club’s situation, and that they will only consider offers from parties capable of building on the progress that has been made.
