Woody and Buzz in Saudi Arabia
Reports indicate that Disney announced the release of a fifth installment of the "Toy Story" film series with a Saudi Arabic dub, featuring voice performances by stars such as Sohaib Qudsi as Woody and Ibrahim Al-Khairallah as Buzz Lightyear. This took place during an event in Riyadh. The choice of Sohaib Qudsi to voice Woody was due to the character's qualities of maturity and development, while Ibrahim Al-Khairallah brought back childhood memories of Disney characters and performed the role for the first time. This marks the first experience of its kind in Saudi dubbing and is considered an important step in enhancing Disney's presence in the region.
