Egypt faces South Africa in friendly
The Egypt national football team is preparing for a friendly match against South Africa at Cairo Stadium, aiming to assess the players' readiness and try out new lineups before upcoming official competitions. The match is part of the Pharaohs' training program during the international break, following the team's two victories in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where they currently top their group with 4 points. The coaching staff, led by Hossam Hassan, is focused on using this encounter to test the players' physical and technical condition, while also trying to maintain the core squad and give opportunities to new players to enhance their abilities ahead of the official qualifiers. The match will be broadcast on ON Sport channels, officiated by Algerian referee Nabil Boughalefa.
