Parliamentary Education Panel: No curricula printing except English
The Iraqi Parliamentary Education Committee confirmed that the printing and preparation of school curricula have experienced significant delays. The printing and preparation rate for the current semester has exceeded zero percent, except for English language textbooks from last year. The committee attributed this delay to weak funding, noting that the necessary financial allocations were not initially available, despite the Prime Minister's directive to allocate 50 billion dinars for printing curricula for the early stages. They emphasized that the government postponed printing curricula for the remaining stages due to changes in some curricula, and that they are in the process of hosting the Ministry of Education to follow up on progress, especially as the school year approaches and the need for textbooks in schools becomes more urgent.
