Parliament urges action on West Bank violence
Reports have circulated about an escalation in criminal activities and Israeli aggression in the West Bank. The President of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, called on the international community to take urgent and effective measures to put an end to settler terrorism and violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Al-Qadi affirmed that the expansion of settlements and the burning of homes and property constitute a violation of international law and threaten stability. He demanded that Israel be held accountable and that the international community shoulder its responsibilities to curb the escalation and prevent the recurrence of these policies, which increase tension and hinder peace efforts.
