Hamas responds in Cairo with negotiation flexibility and firm stance on resistance weapons
The Hamas delegation has arrived in Cairo to present a detailed response to the proposal regarding the weapons of the resistance in Gaza. They upheld the principles of resistance and rejected the framing of the "infrastructure" that includes civilian facilities, while agreeing to specify only military sites and heavy weaponry. The movement affirmed the Palestinian people's right to resistance in accordance with international charters, and expressed a willingness to engage in discussions flexibly without compromising core constants. The response came after consultations with the movement's leadership and Palestinian factions, aimed at reaching an understanding that preserves the rights of resistance and responds to the proposed suggestions.
