Trump Clarifies Israel's First Ally
The article addressed the strong friendship between Israel and the late American Senator Lindsey Graham, who was considered one of the most prominent advocates for Israel in Congress, and the role he played in supporting Israeli strategic goals, such as increasing military aid, recognizing Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and relocating the embassy to Jerusalem. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed that Graham was "one of his greatest friends," while former U.S. President Donald Trump corrected that Graham was Israel's "second-friend," emphasizing his ongoing and historic support for Israel and passing many important resolutions that strengthened the US-Israel relationship.
