Bulgarian Prime Minister Denies Pro-Moscow Claims
Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev rejected the label of being "pro-Russia," emphasizing that his approach to achieving peace between Ukraine and Russia is based on the necessity of diplomacy and working towards a rapid resolution, even though his stance is considered outside the mainstream political current. Radev affirmed that the war is depleting the social and economic systems across Europe, and that peace should be the top priority. He proposed restoring balance among military, economic, and diplomatic tools within the European Union. He also stressed that the power of diplomacy has not been exhausted yet, despite the failure of efforts to end the ceasefire between the involved countries.
