Oman Conducts Karman X1 Rocket Test
Oman has successfully conducted a test launch of a space rocket called "Azad Dreamer" as part of the "Karman X1" mission from the port of Duqm, aiming to evaluate the rocket's performance and the technologies used. This is the second successful launch from the port after the "Duqm-1" test in December 2024. The mission seeks to develop commercial launch capabilities and accelerate the manufacturing of suborbital rockets. This effort contributes to enhancing the expertise of Omani teams and fostering international partnerships, within the framework of the "Taqweem" program launched in 2024 to boost the space sector in the Sultanate.
