Five killed in Israeli Gaza raid
An Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City late Friday into Saturday, resulting in the death of five Palestinians, including two children and four women, and injuring others. Israel believes it targeted Hamas leader Ali Al-Amoudi, although sources from Hamas questioned the validity of the Israeli account and did not confirm Al-Amoudi's death. This strike is part of a series of operations by Israel following the assassination of leaders from the Northern Battalion and Al-Qassam Brigades, and it comes amid an escalation of military actions against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
