Nigereira Gait eyes 32 titles for Barça
The investigations into the Negreira case, related to payments made by certain companies to FC Barcelona between 2001 and 2018 in exchange for reports and technical advice on refereeing, have raised the possibility of canceling or revoking 32 titles from that period. These include 9 La Liga championships, 4 Champions League titles, and 6 Copa del Rey trophies. This potential action hinges on whether the club is found to be involved in violations that could lead to disciplinary sanctions. Although the titles have not been officially annulled yet, their fate remains contingent on the investigation's results and official decisions. The case is particularly sensitive given the significance of that golden era in the club's history, marked by major successes under stars like Messi and coach Pep Guardiola.
