New Tensions Emerge in Messi's Last Career Stage
The prices of tickets for Lionel Messi's farewell match with the Argentina national team have risen significantly, with some premium tickets reaching €905—an increase of 567% over the original price of €53. This has sparked anger among fans and led to an issue with the black market due to ticket reselling at inflated prices. This crisis coincides with problems faced by the Benin national team before the match, including poor facilities and mishandling of the team ahead of the game at the Monumental Stadium, where approximately 85,000 fans are expected to attend. A special farewell ceremony for Messi is also anticipated after the match, featuring musical performances and a commemorative plaque.
