A husband in Taiwan uncovered his wife's infidelity using a remote smart vacuum cleaner, which recorded her interactions with another man via a live stream from inside their home. The husband presented the video evidence in a lawsuit, demanding compensation of one million Taiwanese dollars, but the court awarded him a lower amount of 500,000 Taiwan dollars after confirming his own infidelity. In response, the wife filed a lawsuit against him for secretly filming her, and the court sentenced him to five months in prison and fined him 150,000 Taiwanese dollars on charges of privacy violation.
