Recruitment offices in various provinces are receiving applications for admission to the National University of Defense Sciences for the 2026-2027 academic year. The review of documents and eligibility verification is currently ongoing as part of the first stage of the admission process. This stage includes medical examinations, cultural tests, initial and specialized interviews, as well as the scientific exam at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Damascus. Success in these stages allows students to enroll in the available colleges based on the placement results issued by the Ministry of Higher Education. The program aims to train students in the field of military sciences, following the official establishment of the university by a decree issued in July 2026. The university is based in Damascus and will have the opportunity to establish branches in other provinces.
