The article pertains to the development project of Gabes Valley at a cost of approximately 50 million dinars. It involves the construction of two bridges over the Corniche and Paris Street, with a focus on improving the environmental situation along the riverbanks, especially in areas facing the sea, through the creation of a healthy pedestrian path in collaboration with the Gabes Municipality. An invitation to tender will also be issued for the implementation of the second phase of the project, estimated at around 55 million dinars, early in 2027. This phase includes preparing the branches of the valley and dredging a section of the area facing the sea to a depth of 6 meters. During the visit, the current state of the city bridge was inspected, and the Urban Water Management Department committed to refurbishing it after relocating the existing networks to another site, aiming to improve infrastructure and promote environmental development in the region.
