Cost of Gabès-Zaafrane Coastal Road
The Ministry of Equipment and Housing plans to construct a coastal road connecting Gabes to Zarat, stretching 35 kilometers at a cost exceeding 262 thousand dinars. The goal is to alleviate the isolation of coastal areas and enhance the tourism and scenic potential of the region's beaches. This initiative is part of broader development efforts that also include funding four new projects with a total cost of 4 million dinars. These projects involve road paving and rehabilitation, rebuilding a sports facility, establishing a local market, and creating an irrigation zone, with the preparation of the required studies to begin soon. The aim of these projects is to improve infrastructure and support economic and social development in the area.
