Dutch researcher Frank Houwertig—known for his earthquake predictions—issued a warning about the potential occurrence of strong earthquakes in the coming days. His warning is based on planetary alignments he describes as a "critical astrological event," resulting from alignments between Earth, Mercury, Uranus, and Mars. This came just hours before two powerful earthquakes in Venezuela measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitudes, which killed 164 people and injured about a thousand. The earthquakes caused widespread damage and emergency responses. Houwertig’s use of what he calls the "planetary engineering" theory has faced criticism from the scientific community, which confirms that there is no proven link between the movement of planets and earthquake events.
