Israeli Accounts Exploit Melilla Crisis Against Spain
The article focused on transforming the migration crisis in Ceuta into a battlefield of information warfare driven by organized digital campaigns. These campaigns were exploited by Israeli accounts to steer the discussion toward issues of migration and security, as well as to settle political scores with Spain over its stance on the Palestinian cause. This was achieved through escalating inflammatory rhetoric using AI-generated visual content and promoting dominant messages related to "occupation," "liberation," and the "two-state solution." Additionally, the crisis was linked to symbolic and historical revenge, with the aim of fueling anti-immigration sentiments and inciting chaos in a planned and coordinated manner across social media platforms.
