Sudanese envoy: 1,300 tons of weapons seized
The article focused on the Sudanese army's victories in its fight against the Rapid Support Forces and the impact of regional and international support on the conflict in Sudan. It mentioned that the armed forces seized 1,300 tons of weapons and ammunition, including drones and jamming devices, indicating ongoing support from regional countries for the Rapid Support Forces aimed at hindering the army's progress. Despite this, the Sudanese army made advances in the Blue Nile front and North Kordofan, where they controlled wide areas and lifted the siege on El Obeid city, helping to cut off supply lines to the Rapid Support Forces. The article also announced the recapture of the "Export Road" linking Khartoum and El Obeid, and efforts toward reconstruction have begun, with many hospitals and universities previously destroyed by fighting now operational. The Sudanese ambassador expressed regret over the international community's neglect of the crisis, noting that some countries continue to support rebel militias despite international reports describing the situation as one of the worst in the world.
