Damascus Denies Hezbollah Meeting
The Syrian government denies the reports claiming that a meeting took place between Syrian officials and Hezbollah in Lebanon, confirming that the alleged meeting did not occur. Reuters had indicated that representatives from the Syrian government and Hezbollah had held direct talks aimed at easing tensions between the two sides, but Damascus strongly rejected these claims. The party has not issued any official comment on the report, and the relationship between the two remains a subject of controversy, with Damascus continuing to deny any rapprochement or sensitive meetings.
